The Buddy Roamer Posterior Walking Aid boasts an innovative design which effectively allows children with mild, moderate or complex special needs to walk, following the natural gait pattern, with an unimpeded or unobstructed front section, so that they might interact, communicate and enjoy their experience of movement to the full!

The design provides partial weight bearing mobility, in both an indoor and outdoor setting, to special needs users from toddler status right through to teenager. The ergonomic frame bears part of the weight of the user from behind, while the front section remains open so that the child can walk, play and interact freely.

The Roamer’s innovative Assisted Lift system ensures that your special needs child can now enjoy full use of the arms and hands, to learn, explore and discover. Designed so that the entire front half of the field of movement is unimpeded, the Roamer’s ergonomic frame and innovative support system provide security and assistance to meet all your child or teen’s special needs, whether they be optional added trunk control or lower extremity alignment.

The Buddy Roamer’s modular design means that the system can ‘grow’ with your little one, from 12 month old (toddler) status through childhood to teenage sizes. Adaptable features include adjustable lateral supports, a telescopic headrest, fine height adjustments, a central positioning bar and an adjustable dynamic spring.
